Our Lady of the Rosary

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary

Mary has asked us over and over to pray the Rosary every day.

Isn’t it time, now?

She asks so little of us, and she gives so much.

  1. Yes, ma’am, it’s time.

I am often reminded of RCIA inquirers who said they felt like they wanted to pray the Rosary, though they didn’t know how. I’ve no doubt that Mary leads them closer to home – I wonder what it is that spells the difference in that turning, i.e., upon what prayers has She specifically gone to seek out a lamb? O, to see the other side of the Tapestry for just a second, huh?

I mostly just wanted to say (and you probably have it here somewhere) that one can download the Virtual Rosary –which pops up on one’s desktop every morn. Every prayer of every bead is there, step by step, and there are multi-language and music and Prayercast (requests) modules, scriptural meditations or text, big or small window, and it all can be copied and pasted into other windows if one wants to pray it with others online in a chat room or whisper-window. It was a teen boy who started that, and he’s since added the Divine Mercy chaplet and Novena as choices, which also tracks the days.

  2. Thanks, Carol, for that important reminder; I’ve seen many, but completely forgot to put one in my sidebar. Will try to get that done very soon! Yes, we have so many wonderful helps these days, thanks to generous souls!

  3. What a beautiful website. Thank you and God Bless you. I will say a special prayer and of course a Hail Mary for you tonight. Just wanted to let you know that
Father Corapi now has a wonderful free Virtual Rosary on his new website.

Also I have a question, I plan to pray the 33 Day Conseration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It looks like I should start it on November 5th. Is that correct? I was trying to understand the calendar. I am so excited and humbled to be consecrated. Immaculate Heart of Mary I place all my trust in you. Oh Jesus I love you and thank you Father for pusuing me.

If you have any tips on the 33 Day Consecration please share with me. Oh thank you again. I am so devoted to Mary and want to share her with the world.

  4. Hi Diane; thank you for your kindness, and for your prayers – I appreciate that very much indeed, to be remembered in your prayers tonight. Thanks also for that info about Fr. Corapi’s virtual Rosary – I’ll try to put several links up re the Rosary, some virtual and some audio/iPod, etc, as resources, and I appreciate all suggestions.

I’m so happy that you will be doing your consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Yes, if you start on November 5/09, you will have your Consecration Day on December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception!

Re tips: If you look in my lefthand sidebar under categories, you may find all the categories starting with the word “consecration” to be helpful, and then if you look at the category marked “day-by-day”, you will see that I have set up Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc., for the full 33-day period, so it will work for everyone no matter when they choose to start.

After you click on “day-by-day” and go backwards until you get to Day 1, make sure to click on the actual title, eg., Day 1, to see the complete post. I posted both the consecration re the Immaculate Heart and also the consecration re St. Louis de Montfort so people can make their own choice (or do a combination), and there are links to all the prayers you need, to other websites, and also embedded audio from Rosary Army if you are doing the de Montfort, or would just like to incorporate it into your 33 days.

It brings joy to my heart !!! to hear you say you are devoted to Mary and want to share her with the world, and I know from my own experience that it will be even moreso after your consecration to Her Immaculate Heart. God bless!

  5. Hi Gabrielle, Oh, I so appreciate your reply. Thank you. I am so excited and getting ready for November 5th Day 1 of my journey. I will go to “consecration” categories tonight and get familiar with the pages.

One week from today. Oh I just pray to be more humble in my life – I work long hours in sales and just need every penny I make to pay the bills – so this makes me so anxious – I just need to Let Go and know that God is taking care of me and know all of my Hail Mary’s are heard.

God Bless you Gabrielle – I will keep you updated on
how my 33 day Consecration is going. Oh I am so grateful that I found this website. Hail Holy Queen.
    Thank you again. Diane

  6. You’re very welcome, Diane. Oh, I can feel your excitement, and I share it with you. Just take it one day at a time; some days will be better than others, naturally, in terms of “how you feel” while doing the prayers and reflections – some days you have more time, other days you may have to break it up into sections throughout the day. Mary understands all this; she knows how busy we are with family, work, etc. There were even a few times when I had to catch up on two or three days, little by little. Don’t worry about any of that; Mary knows your heart.

  7. Dear Gabrielle,

I just completed my 12th day! Oh I am so humbled by this experience. Each day I am getting closer and closer to Our Blessed Mother, and I am preparing my heart – opening that window in my heart to my soul – after years of that window being closed. By the grace of God – this is bringing me closer than I have ever been to God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit – Oh Mother thank you. Just wanted to give you an update. Please pray for me.

God Bless you Gabrielle for your guidance and support. Thank you again for your beautiful website.

  8. I am keeping you in my prayers, Diane. Through your words I feel your joy, your peace and your gratitude for what is taking place, and I remember so well experiencing the same. I am expressing my gratitude as well to Jesus and Mary for this beautiful time in your life, for the graces they are pouring down on you and will continue to bless you with in the future.
